A year later in 1987 he appeared in the Princess Bride movie which was another success under his belt. The same years he also appeared in two other films called Little Monsters as well as Runaway Ralph.

The Wonder Years is the biggest start to anyone’s career however this hit TV series of the 1980s really only helped one of the cast which was Fred Savage who played Kevin Arnold in the series. He was the lead character in the TV show which stayed on air for nearly 10 years doing more than 2 seasons which took it to stardom for children series of the 80s. There were no other life shows for children around this time that even compared to the Wonder Years but still Fred was the only one that we saw anything of after it’s ending. Born in 1976 he is now 34 years old and waiting to start on his next product for Hollywood. Lately you could have seen Fred Savage in the Gold Member film for Austin Powers where Fred played the role of the mole with a giant mole on his face. The laughs did not stop as Mike Myers played havoc with Fred who looked like something had hit him in the face.

Ugly Betty is another role that Fred has fitted into where he made more than a few guest appearances getting involved with what Betty was getting up to. In the animated series Family Guy Fred also played a role or two to help his career get along a little better. More and more celebrities are now turning to animation like Ray Boron in Ice Age as well as other great actors in all of the latest animated movies. Fred is an industrial kind of guy that seems to find work wherever he needs it which is great for some people because often many people in Hollywood only get one chance. If you were a fan of Fred Savage in the Wonder Years then you will no longer see him in roles like this where he was the main character. After the production of a few dud movies he was in there is not much to give to his career unless directors want him as a fill in or extra.

Fred savage has had his mix of major roles in television and movies as well as a few minor roles that did not give him much recognition. His earliest masterpiece was his role of the youngest son in The Wonder Years as the kid called Kevin Arnold. This series went on for a few seasons and the repeats are still available to watch today which says something about how well the show was and how great an actor Fred was. Later he appeared in several other movies which we can remember him in the last of the Austin Powers movies as the mole. His role was a small part but still something of a humorous one where he worked right alongside mike Myers.

Other tell tale parts in Fred’s career where big movies with little parts. In the video Dinosaurs, Fred played a role back in 1987 when he was only 11 years old and then later he made an even bigger appearance in the boy who could fly. This movie was one of the last movies where we saw Fred as a child actor but it was one of his better roles none the less. He was even part of the major Twilight Zone series where in one of the films he plays a good part where he is determined to work out what is going on in that crazy world. The Princess Bride is one of his later works too however this movie was more for the children rather than anyone else.
