Fred Savage is an American film director, actor and producer. He was born on July 9, 1976, Chicago and his fame started since he was only 9. Fred Savage is nicknamed Freddy and he is very talented. This is the main reason why he was acclaimed and appreciated for his work, but his charm was also important. His career became important with the role from The Wonder Years series, but later he continued to make and to play in other films that in time increased his fame. The actor Fred Savage married with the girl he knew since childhood: Jennifer and when he proposed her, he offered Jennifer a very expensive ring.

Fred Savage has a brother called Ben Savage and a sister, Kala Savage, both of them being actors. The Wonder Years drama series lasted for ten years from 1983 until 1993 and was an incredible success. When he got the role, Fred Savage had only 12, but it was the best choice that the producers could make at that time, as Fred Savage proved to be very talented and the film was a real success. He has a bachelor degree in English. Other films in which Fred Savage acted that were successful were The Wizard, Goldmember and Generator Rex.

I like Fred Savage because he involves very much in the roles he plays and he is authentic. Fred Savage portrays the characters very well and he picks the films that resonate with his personality. He received many Golden Globe and Emmy nominations, even if he was only a teenager at that time, but very talented. The actor does not have to be perceived as one that was successful only once, as later he had roles in multiple films or was a guest actor, so he continued developing his career, trying to have great results. I like the way he acts and it is obvious that only a sensitive person could do that and live each role at its maximum. His talent started since he was a kid and all his life was dedicated to acting and making films, which implies many efforts, talent and is also a complex activity.

Fred Savage is an American actor, producer and director, born on July 9, 1976, in Chicago. He became famous thanks to his role in The Wonder Years, an American television comedy-drama which aired from 1988 until 1993. The story describes the social and family life of Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage), a young boy who lives in the suburbs. He was only 12 years old when he got the part, but he was very

promising. The producers did not mistaken when they chose Fred to be the main character of the show, because it had an enormous success.

Fred Savage became the youngest actor who received two Golden Globe nominations and two Emmy nominations, for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. After six seasons, the show ended and Fred Savage only did guest or supporting roles; Austin Powers in Goldmember is worth mentioning. Then, he took a step forward and gave voice to animated characters in various projects, like Family Guy, Kim Possible, Justice League Unlimited, Oswald, and Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Didn’t Happen.

After that, he gave up acting and started to focus on a directing career. Fred Savage graduated from Stanford University in 1999 and he has a bachelor degree in English. 1999 was not only the year when he graduated, but also the year when he started directing. Fred Savage has directed dozens of television series, like Zoey 101, Drake & Josh, Ned’s Declassified, and Big Time Rush for Nickelodeon, as well as That’s So Raven, Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place for the Disney Channel.

Unlike any other child actors, Fred Savage managed to stay on track. Although he has known fame at an early age, he always knew very well which were his priorities and he was never involved in scandals. Besides the fact that he was a good kid, who never abused drugs or alcohol, he kept his love life private and married his childhood friend, Jennifer Lynn Stone. They have a daughter and a son, which are according to Fred the blessings of his family.

Anyone who remembers Fred Savage from The Wonder Years remembers a typical kid navigating the waters of growing up in America. Many kid actors who experience his level of success go on to have very messy lives as adults. Savage was able to avoid the typical path of child actor destruction. Not only has he kept his personal life on track, but he has also made some very bold career choices.

Fred Savage as a Producer

If you have ever watched Party Down or It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, you probably didn’t picture the kid from The Wonder Years being associated with either of these cleverly raunchy shows. However, Savage is now an adult, and he wasn’t afraid to make the jump to taking part as a producer and director on both shows.

15 Episodes of Party Down

Fred was involved with 15 episodes of the hilarious Party Down. He directed nine of the episodes, including the series premie. He worked as the supervising producer for ten episodes and producer for five of the episodes.

If you’ve never watched Party Down, you can stream both seasons of this underrated gem through Netflix’s Watch Instantly.

18 Episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Savage directed 18 episodes of the highly entertaining It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Classics like The Gang Gives Frank an Intervention were all shot under Savage’s direction.

He was also responsible for producing 13 episodes of the show, as well as the A Very Sunny Christmas special.

It’s well worth picking up the 5 season box set of this show (which includes the Christmas special) from Amazon for $57.49.

Fredrick Aaron Savage otherwise know by his more frequently used stage name Fred Savage is one of the more memorable actors of the 1980s and 1990s. His appearance on the hit TV show The Wonder Years was something that most people enjoyed and had a very large fan base over the several seasons that it aired on TV. Not only played in America but also broadcast in countries like the UK, Australia, New Zealand and many more. Fred was not just a one hit wonder though and his career spread across many different characters and programs.

Fred started out as a movie star in the year 1986 when he played the part of one of the young children in The Boy Who Could Fly. The next year he secured a role in a very well known and highly seen movie called the Princess Bride. The Wizard was another great performance by Fred Savage in the year 1989 when he also played another character the same year in Little Monsters. He was a very popular child actor for the producers of movies to hire mostly because his acting skills came quite naturally. More recently you will see Fred in movies such as the 2002 Austin Powers movie Goldmember. ON TV you can see him play the role of Noah in Generator Rex, which is his next big TV series, which will hopefully go well for all his loving fans.

With iconic television shows there are two types of starring roles. There is the ensemble cast or there is the iconic lead star. One such iconic lead star was Fred Savage on Wonder Years. Wonder Years was a television show started in the late 1980′s but was set in the late 1960′s. The idea being that every twenty years there is a generation nostalgic for their youth.

Fred Savage on Wonder Years brought that period of time back to life for all viewers of the show. His portrayal of Kevin Arnold reminded people of the good and the bad of the 1960′s. Yet, Kevin Arnold was not just about modern history, the character was also vehicle for a young Savage to explore youth, friendship, and love.

The show was a critical and audience success with Savage in the lead role. Critically, Fred Savage’s portrayal earned him Golden Globe and Emmy nominations at age thirteen. That makes him the youngest actor to be nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The audience was large enough that the show ran six years and was in the top ten shows for two seasons.

The character Kevin Arnold also had two close friends that made for the stories of the series. There was his best friend Paul and love interest Winnie. Fred Savage on Wonder Years did a great job working with Josh Saviano (Paul) and Danica McKellar (Winnie), that as a trio they memorable as any other cast in television history.

The youthful Fred Savage that most of us will remember was one which grew up in a small American suburb with his girlfriend across the street however this characters name was Kevin Arnold. In 1986 Fred Savage was a child star in the hit movie The Boy Who Could Fly however this was only the beginning of his adventures in TV and on the big screen which lead him to be one of the great child actors of his time. Fred Savage is a well known household name which comes up more often than not when people are generally talking about celebrities. A year later in 1987 he appeared in the Princess Bride movie which was another success under his belt. This movie is still a favorite with the kids because girls love the princess and the boys want to be the hero like Fred. Corey Woods was the name of one of his characters in the movie The Wizard and this was released early in 1989. The same years he also appeared in two other films called Little Monsters as well as Runaway Ralph.

It was not until many years had passed before Fred got another movie role however during this time he was growing up and being the biggest single child star on the series the Wonder Years. Later in 1996 he again appeared in his next movie which was titled No One Would Tell. The next year was a comedy appearance in A Guy Walks into a Bar however in 1998 he chose to be one of the characters in the Jungle Book Story. Four years later Fred received his next opportunity to appear in a movie however this was not the greatest of roles. He started out that year as a character who was a small role and a junkie which really did little for his credibility. In 2004 he starred in a bigger role in the series Mooseport while the same year he also got a spot in the movie The Last Run.
